About BitLife
BitLife is a life simulator built around a character’s story rather than reflexes or a score chase. A new life begins with a randomly generated person, a birthplace, family details, and four visible attributes: happiness, health, smarts, and looks. The timeline records what happens as you move through the years, giving each run a different starting point.
The large green Age button is the main way to advance. Pressing it moves the character forward and adds new information to the timeline. Other options sit along the bottom of the portrait screen. These include activities, relationships, assets, and a context menu that changes with the character’s stage of life. An infant naturally has fewer choices than an older character, so the early years are a chance to learn the interface.
